Star Solutions (STAR, we, us) uses personal information to respond to enquiries and provide video-production and related advertising services. This policy explains how we handle information submitted through starsolutions.online, our Facebook or Instagram lead forms, and direct conversations with us.
Information we collect
Depending on how you contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, website or Instagram handle, preferred callback time, and the answers or messages you choose to share. Our website questionnaire may also ask about your business goal, customer sources, capacity, budget fit and timing.
We record the source and time of an enquiry, relevant form or ad identifiers, and the consent wording accepted with your submission. Our website uses session storage in your browser to remember questionnaire progress and the call-request handoff. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process basic request and security information when delivering the website and its forms.
Website analytics
We use PostHog to understand which links and sources bring people to our website and where visits progress to an enquiry. We record page visits, visibility of work examples and the form, the start of form entry, and whether an enquiry was successfully saved or failed. Shared links may contain campaign labels such as the source, community placement or advertisement.
Our analytics is configured without analytics cookies or individual person profiles. Technical request information, including an approximate country or region derived by the provider, supports anonymous audience measurement. We do not send the names, phone numbers, email addresses, business details or note text entered in the form to PostHog. Session replay and automatic field or interaction recording are disabled. We remove arbitrary URL query fields and private referrer paths from analytics events, retaining only bounded campaign labels. The application session storage described above remains separate from analytics. We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals by not starting analytics collection.
How we use your information
We use it to understand and research your business, prepare for a requested conversation, contact you about your enquiry, arrange a call, prepare a proposal, and keep a record of agreed next steps. If you become a client, we also use the information needed to manage and deliver your services.
Submitting an enquiry does not by itself subscribe you to promotional email or SMS campaigns. If you no longer want enquiry follow-up, tell us using the contact details below.
Service providers and sharing
We use service providers to operate this process. Meta receives information submitted through its Facebook and Instagram forms. Plutio holds our enquiry and client records. Make transfers submitted information between the connected services. Telegram delivers internal notifications to the person handling your enquiry; those private alerts may include the submitted contact details, business information and note, the enquiry source and time, and a direct link to the Plutio record. PostHog provides the bounded website analytics described above. We also use the hosting, infrastructure and email services needed to run the website and communicate with you.
Some providers may process information outside Canada, where different laws may apply. Their own privacy policies describe how they operate their services. We may also disclose information when required or permitted by applicable law. We do not sell enquiry information.
Retention and protection
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including ongoing enquiries, client work, recordkeeping and applicable legal requirements. We review information we no longer need for deletion or anonymization. We use reasonable organizational and technical safeguards and limit access to people and services involved in handling the work. No online service can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and requests
You can contact us to ask about the information we hold about you, request access or correction, withdraw consent to optional uses, or request deletion. We may need to verify your identity. Some information may need to be retained where applicable law or a continuing legal or contractual obligation requires it. We will explain any limitation that applies to your request.
